By using the walkie-talkie function, you can contact anyone who has a handset within 1,000 feet outdoors and 150 feet indoors. The 4210 is designed for small office or busy homes, offering voice-announced caller ID/call waiting, headset compatibility, a buttonless base, six-day standby battery, clock and alarm, appointment reminder, and a navigation key to help you move through the intuitive menus. A 30-number caller ID memory and 200 speed-dial presets are both displayed on the large five-line backlit LED screen. The slim illuminated handset, weighing just 5.6 ounces and measuring 2-by-6.5-by-1.5-inches, has a volume control, call waiting, flash, hold, and last number redial. The cordless handset also provides a speakerphone. The long battery life provides 10 hours of talk and 6.25 days of standby with a low-battery indicator. When you employ multiple Gigaset handsets, the system also features an intercom, room monitor, call transfer, and call conferencing. The base provides a handset locator.
