Dect 6.0 telephone system offers Caller ID, digital answering machine, dial-in-base speakerphone, and a cordless handset with speakerphone. Caller ID has a 50 name/number history. The two handsets - one corded and one cordless - can be used with a single phone jack. Corded/cordless system is expandable to 12 handsets and has 14 minutes of digital recording time. Dect 6.0 technology delivers up to 45 percent more range over 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz phone systems without needing a boost in power. Telephone system also features an equalizer for customized audio and a high-contrast backlit LCD and lighted keypad. Functions include call transfer using the intercom; conference between an outside line and up to four handsets; ring volume control; selectable ringer tones; last 20-number redial; call screening/intercept; memo recording; message retrieval from handsets; message time/day stamp; remote access and voice prompts. Setup menu is in English, Spanish and French. Energy Star qualified.
